Molly's dad has to go to fight for our freedom in World War II. She goes to visit her grandparents and Aunt Eleanor. Molly has a difficult time without her dad. Her Aunt Eleanor joined the WASP (Women's Air Force Service Pilots. She made sure that Molly got to take a ride in a plane. Many people had to take jobs during the war. They had to fill in for the people who left to fight the war. Molly learns to help too.
