Today is a great day at our church - today we get to take part in something called an ordination service, where our own Russ Pierce will be ordained as an elder in our church. God knows what we need as a church, and he has provided another man to shepherd God's people among us! Today let's think about what it means to lead in God's church from 1 Thessalonians 2:

2. Gospel ministry is full of gentleness
3. Gospel ministry is full of caring exhortation
4. How should you receive your leader's ministry?
Verse: Hebrews 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account.
