Anger Management
Ephesians 4:26-27
Summary:
Have you ever been really angry? Think about the last time it happened. Do remember why you were mad? Did you have a good reason to be angry? It may sound strange, but there are times when we are supposed to be angry! The problem is that usually we get angry for the wrong reasons and in the wrong way. Let's think about the difference between holy, God-honoring anger and sinful anger:
1. There are times when anger is right and even needed
2. How do we guard against worldly anger? Let our anger be:
a. Righteous: Don't let your anger involve or lead to sin
b. Brief: Don't let anger fester
c. Guarded: Don't give Satan a place in your anger
Verse: Ephesians 4:26-27 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.
