The Covenant of Preservation, Part 1
Genesis 6:9-22
Summary: Imagine yourself living in a good kingdom as one of the king’s royal subjects. The king is wise and just in his rule. But in that kingdom, nearly everyone decides they don’t want to live under the king’s rule, so they rebel against him. What must that king do? He needs to stop the rebellion! This is what we see today in Genesis 6. Let’s take a peek at this together:

1. A man of God responds to God’s grace
2. Because God is just, he must punish rebellion
3. Because God is gracious he enters into a covenant to save His people
4. The response of faith is to obey God’s command
Verse: Genesis 6:9 Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.
