Nothing Can Stand in God’s Way
Summary:
Have you ever lied to try to get out of trouble? All of us have probably done it sometime. Today in our sermon passage, even faithful Abram lied. Abram failed to trust God and he lied to Pharaoh, saying that his wife Sarai was his sister. But even Abe’s failure could not stop God’s plan for his life! Even our sins can’t overthrow God’s good plans. Let’s see this in action:

1. We cannot secure God’s blessings on our own
2. Nothing we do can stop God’s plans and promises - not even our own sin
Verse: 2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.
