Summary:Does it ever seem like God is not answering your prayers? Does it feel like God is “slow” sometimes and you are having trouble waiting on Him? This happens to all of us, and it happened to Abram and Sarai as well. They had waited for God to fulfill His promise of a baby for over ten years and they sinned instead of continuing to trust. But God doesn’t forget His promises! Let’s think about it...
Outline:
1. It is hard to wait on God when His promises seem unfulfilled
2. When God seems slow, it is tempting to use sinful means to obtain blessing
3. God cares for those who are defenseless
4. We must take God’s on His terms and not our own
Verse: Psalm 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!
