Summary:
God calls His people to draw near to Him, to receive from Him richest blessings
and peace, offered freely and abundantly. Come, hear what God has done: that
you might feast and be satisfied for life, through the blessing of God’s glorified
covenant leader, Jesus Christ.

heavy laden, and I will give your rest.”
Discussion Questions:
1. Verses 3 – 5 speak prophetically of Jesus Christ. Can you think of specific instances
where Jesus fulfilled these words?
2. Are there things or practices in your life that you turn to when you are stressed, in
need, or seeking rest, that in the end do not bring satisfaction? Why do you think they
fail?
3. What are some ways that you feast on the “good food” of God? How do these satisfy?
